The Friends of Science Education is a special initiative coordinated by the Richland School District Foundation. It strives to increase the quality of science education experienced by the students in the Richland School District. Its current and future projects will be listed on this page.

The mission of the Friends of Science Education is to ensure that Richland Center High School students receive an excellent education in science.
The first goal of the Friends of Science Education is to obtain modern equipment for the chemistry and physics laboratories. Students need to do experiments in order to maximize their knowledge of all science, including chemistry and physics. A thorough review of the best and most current methods in teaching science has been completed. Based on the results of this research, we need to raise $50,000 to fully equip our laboratories. School budgets are very lean so all donations are deeply appreciated. Every dollar received will be used for the purchase of equipment used by students in the classroom laboratories, and every dollar is deeply appreciated and makes a difference.
